Let's try this again

After being out of the poker game for a few years, disgusted with the state of play on most of the online sites, I've decided to give it another go.  The main reason for my change of heart is Annie Duke's new book "Decide to Play Great Poker".  It's a great read!

Annie gives no poker "rules" or tables to memorize.  Instead, she presents the thought processes behind the decisions a pro makes at the table in order to give hopeful  poker players some insight into the evolving state of play in today's Texas Hold'em.  I'd recommend everyone who has any aspirations to be a winning poker player to go  out and get a copy.

Well, it appears that the online world is in for a realignment.  It's being reported that PokerStars and FullTilt have reached an "agreement".  The rumor is that PS is going to be buying FTP and that such a deal means that all the players who have had the funds frozen at FTP may finally get their money.  I don't know for certain, but I really wonder how PS can carry this off, given the debt load FT is carrying as well as the still uncertain financial futures of the FT owners and upper management.  Could it be that PS has enough cash reserves to meet the payout obligations it would be assuming?  I just don't know.
